Cessna Citation Latitude Makes Show Debut at MEBAA

Textron Aviation showcases its top-selling midsize business jet in Dubai.

Textron Aviation’s Cessna Citation Latitude will make its show debut at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association conference in Dubai this week, alongside the Cessna Grand Caravan EX and the Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprops.

Textron’s top-selling midsize business jet, the Citation Latitude has amassed more than 12,000 fleet hours in just over a year, with 40 aircraft deliveries. More than 300 of Textron’s jets and turboprops are utilized throughout the Middle East in business and special-mission applications.

“[The Citation Latitude’s] reliability, efficiency and total ownership value make it an ideal business tool for operators in the Middle East and throughout the world,” said Kriya Shortt, Textron’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The Latitude is the first of a three-aircraft Citation family, which includes the large-cabin Citation Hemisphere and the super-midsize Citation Longitude, both of which are under development.

“We expect this family of aircraft will be ideal for meeting the high demand for larger business jets in the Middle East, where we’ve experienced excellent market reception of our Citations,” Shortt said.
