Innovative Solutions & Support this week announced it has received FAA Supplemental Type Certification for its NextGen flight deck for the retrofit in the Pilatus PC-12. The flight deck boasts an integrated flight management system, integrated standby unit, electronic flight bag, synthetic vision and enhanced vision.
IS&S’s NextGen flight deck also features autothrottle capability; airport diagrams and approach information; moving maps with flight plan overlay; airspaces and airways; runway depictions, navigation aids and intersections; ADS-B In/Out; satellite weather options; electronic checklists and display; control of enhanced vision system and optional iPad control.
The first installation of the flight deck is in progress on Pilatus Owners and Pilots Association President Brian Cleary’s airplane.
