NavWorx Certifies Budget ADS-B Receiver

Unit includes ADS-B In and Out capabilities.

NavWorx of Rowlett, Texas, has received FAA TSO approval for the ADS600-B, a Universal Access Transceiver unit that provides ADS-B In and Out capability to meet the FAA’s 2020 mandate.

NavWorx says the unit sends ADS-B Out information and receives ADS-B In information including ADS-B, ADS-R and TIS-B traffic and FIS-B weather. Options for the ADS600-B include an Arinc 429 interface allowing connectivity to panel-mount navigators such as the Garmin GNS 530/430. A Wi-Fi adapter allows wireless connectivity to iPad applications, while an internal WAAS GPS antenna completes the installation in the absence of an existing certified GPS input source.

The price of the ADS600-B starts at $2,595.
