Home / Photos / Cessna 206 Stationair Photos Cessna 206 Stationair By August 10, 2005 Cessna 206 Available after-market TKS icing protection is one area where the 206’s abundant useful load makes so much sense. Even with a full load of de-ice fluid, the big piston single can still carry 1,328 pounds — enough for full fuel and four FAA-standard-weight occupants (200 pounds each including baggage). From the outside, today’s Stationair looks pretty much like the one flown on the author’s son’s first birthday, four decades ago. The pilot’s-eye view is strictly 21st century, with large-screen Garmin G1000 avionics dominating the panel.
