Cessna Citation Crashes After Landing Goes Awry

According to the Miami Herald, eyewitnesses said the aircraft appeared too high during its first steep, fast descent into Runway 25. On the second attempt, the Citation, again according to witnesses, landed nose-wheel first approximately half way down the runway. It then veered to the right, the right wing striking the ground. The airplane then flipped and caught fire.

The weather at Macon was reportedly light winds and clear skies at the time of the accident, and investigators have said they believe weather was not a factor.
