Firecrown has acquired Kalmbach Media's *Trains* and *Astronomy* media groups, expanding its existing transportation media portfolio into the railroad and space sectors.
The acquisition includes numerous media brands like *Trains*, *Model Railroader*, *Astronomy*, and their associated e-commerce operations.
Firecrown plans to significantly invest in editorial coverage for the new rail and space properties, leveraging synergies with its current brands, and will merge acquired e-commerce stores to create a "space enthusiast superstore" and an expanded hobby store.
