Cirrus Brings Parts Business In House

Cirrus Direct to serve global markets.

Cirrus Aircraft announced it is bringing its parts and aftermarket services business in house with the launch of Cirrus Direct, a new parts distribution pipeline that replaces Cirrus Parts by API.

The change, which went into effect yesterday, will provide Cirrus owners with improved parts inventory availability while allowing the company to expand globally, Cirrus said.

Aircraft owners and operators will continue to order parts, upgrades and request maintenance through their authorized service centers. The Duluth, Minnesota manufacturer said the creation of Cirrus Direct has been in the works for several months to ensure a smooth transition for parts ordering, inventory planning and warehouse operations.

“Cirrus is expanding its global footprint, entering new market segments, and growing its product portfolio, including the SF50 Vision jet. In concert with our growth, Cirrus Direct will improve a customer’s experience today while providing the platform for enhanced flexibility ahead,” said Todd Simmons, Cirrus Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service.
