Key Takeaways:

Cirrus Aircraft has announced a partnership with Aerospace Products International (API) in which the latter would take over distribution and logistics services for Cirrus. API will support Cirrus owners, operators and service centers worldwide. Under the brand “Cirrus Parts by API,” the Memphis, Tennessee-based company will have responsibility for “all field supply chain services and logistical solutions for Cirrus Aircraft spare parts” for SR-Series piston aircraft. API, a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services, will also handle customer returns, manage rotables exchanges, and administer warranty claims and parts replacements for Cirrus. API will assume responsibility for forecasting worldwide spare parts demand and global inventory levels for Cirrus Aircraft Authorized Service Centers. API already supplies similar support services for Champion Aerospace, Dassault Falcon Jet, Goodrich, Gulfstream, Hartzell, PPG, Teledyne Continental Motors and other aerospace companies.
