For pilots, the airport is often referred to as a playground—and there are some facilities that are taking this to the next level by building kid-friendly facilities at the airport. They often have aviation themes built by service organizations with donations and volunteer labor and they become the crown jewel of the airport.

Does your local airfield have a playground of note? We’re looking for general aviation airports with kid-friendly playgrounds for a future feature story.

If you know of one, please share it, and some pictures, with us.
