At the National Business Aviation Association’s 2019 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas this week, Vista Global announced that it is making an investment for up to six Global 7500 aircraft to enter its VistaJet fleet from January 2020.
“Vista Global is the first and only group to offer passengers access to the ultimate business flying machine, the Bombardier Global 7500,” said Thomas Flohr, Vista Global Founder and Chairman. “The 7500 is a truly unrivalled jet when it comes to speed, space and innovation, and being able to offer it to our members ensures that we continue to lead the way in transforming the aviation industry. We were able to add the 7500 now instead of waiting until 2023 to offer similar aircraft such as Gulfstream’s G700.”
The Global 7500 will provide Vista Global’s customers with speed and range to match the luxury they expect. The 7500 has set the record for the longest mission ever flown in a non-stop flight of 8,225 nm between Sydney and Detroit, Michigan. It has also set a coast-to-coast speed record of 3 hours and 54 minutes between New York and Los Angeles, hitting Mach 0.925 for more than two hours.
Flohr founded VistaJet in 2004 with two aircraft in Europe, and this year, the company is celebrating 15 years of growth. They have flown 400,000 passengers to 1,900 airports in 187 countries, with 160,000 flights completed globally on 70+ aircraft including the Challenger 350, 605 and 850, Global 5000 and 6000, and, starting in January 2020, the Global 7500.

This exciting announcement comes just a month after Vista Global’s industry-changing commitment to implement the highest speed KU-band internet on board its fleet, and follows our acquisition of JetSmarter and XOJet.”
VistaJet’s commitment to an enhanced customer private aviation experience shows in the way all crew members are trained. Flohr said at the Global 7500 announcement event that while safety is paramount and pilots receive the highest levels of training available, even cabin crews received an equally high level of advanced training. “We have at least one Cabin Hostess on every flight and all are trained by the British Butler Institute. They are WSET certified up to level 2 in wines and spirits, and trained at the Norland College in children’s behavior and family dynamics.”
