Sporty’s Announces 2019 Webinar Series

Sporty's has announced a schedule of free, interactive, educational webinars on a variety of useful aviation topics scheduled throughout the year. Attendees of the live events must register and the webinars are available online through GoToWebinar. Past webinars from Sporty's are available through the company's Youtube channel on topics such as ADS-B; weather strategies; flight planning; flight training; and tips and tricks for passing a checkride, how to use a variety of aviation apps and panel mounted avionics, and more. The benefit of attending the live events is the ability to ask questions of the presenters.

The first Sporty’s webinar for the year was held on January 23 and covered the company’s recently launched 2019 Learn to Fly Course. This webinar should be posted on the Youtube page soon. Here is the list of webinars scheduled for the remainder of the year:

  • April 16, 8:00 p.m. EST – Instrument Proficiency Check
  • May 23, 8:00 p.m. EST – Becoming an Airline Pilot – Keys to Achieving Your Dream
  • June 27, 8:00 p.m. EST – Pass Your Checkride
  • June 28, 8:00 p.m. EST – Weather Fundamentals and Strategy with Meteorologist Scott Dimmich
  • November 14, 8:00 p.m. EST – iPad Proficiency Check: 10 Ways to Fly like a Pro with Your iPad
