Each year aviation enthusiasts and avgeeks alike look forward to AirVenture in Oshkosh, America's largest annual gathering, and this July and August look to be shaping up for another great show. From a sneak peek of Disney's new animated feature _Planes ___to a first public U.S. flight by Yves "Jetman" Rossy and musical performances by Chicago and Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, there is a number of special events to be excited about. Monday opens up with a free concert for all attendees.

With up to 10,000 visiting aircraft, showgoers will be able to view a variety of interesting and unusual warbird and vintage aircraft, as well as homebuilts and ultralights. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy afternoon airshows and nighttime aerobatic perfomers as they light up the sky. EAA AirVenture will also host a fireworks display on Saturday.

If you still haven't booked your trip out to EAA AirVenture 2013, the ticket rates through June 30 are as follows:

General Public (Daily)

Adult: $41

Veteran / Active Military: $30

Student (6-18 years old): $22*

Children (5 & under): Free

EAA Member (Daily / Weekly)

Adult: $26 / $114

Spouse / Guest: $26 / $114

Student (6-18 years old): $18 / $60*

Children (5 & under): Free / Free

*Sunday, August 4, is Family Day and students (age 6-18) are admitted free.

There are a few different ways to get to Oshkosh.

For general parking: From U.S. 41, take Exit 116 east (Wis. 44/South Park Rd.). Turn right on Knapp Street Rd. and right on Poberezny Rd. Follow traffic pattern to AirVenture general parking.

Camping: From U.S. 41, take Exit 113 east (Wis. 26/Waupun Rd.). Turn left on Poberezny Rd. and proceed 1.8 miles to Camp Scholler gates.
