EAA’s AirVenture to Showcase New Urban Air Mobility Center

If you're someone who can't keep straight the number and names of the dozens of urban flying vehicles coming to the marketplace, don't feel alone. For an education on the urban mobility marketplace, EAA's AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in late July, might be just the place when the doors open to the show's new urban air mobility showcase, part of Aviation Gateway Park.

Sponsored by TransportUP, the showcase will highlight autonomous air vehicles, hoverbikes, personal air vehicles and leader VTOLs (Vertical Takeoff and Landing vehicles). There are also scheduled speakers, forums, and an executive roundtable that brings industry leaders together to discuss the rapid evolution of this technology.

The Urban Air Mobility Showcase is one of the four featured areas at EAA's Aviation Gateway Park that encompasses the Aviation Innovation Showcase, the Education and Career Center, and the Park's forum pavilion. The focus throughout Aviation Gateway Park is on innovation and possibilities within the world of flight. Here's a sneak peek at some of the vehicles you might see this summer: transportup.com
