Terrafugia’s TF-X Vision Flying Car

Terrafugia has unveiled plans for a new flying car, the TF-X Vision.

According to Terrafugia, the vehicle will have vertical take-off and landing capabilities.
Small enough to fit into a single car garage, the TF-X Vision features seating for four.
Featuring an electric ground drive, the TF-X will use some electric power on take-off and landing.
Terrafugia says the TF-X Vision can be recharged either via the aircraft's own engine or by plugging into an electric car station.
Intended for use by the common man, Terrafugia says the TF-X Vision will be able to auto-land in certain conditions.
Development of the TF-X Vision is expected to take eight to 10 years, according to the company.
A price point has not yet been set.
