Have you ever flown around in the summer with your iPad running an aviation app only to have the iPad shut down, cutting you off from what might be your most useful navigation source? This can happen when the temperatures get hot or if you leave the iPad in a window where the sun beats down on it.

MGF has solved this problem with a new case that keeps the device cool and protects it from physical damage at the same time. The iPad Sport Cool Case eliminates heat from the iPad using technology developed for high-end gaming laptops. The case provides airflow to cool the iPad while emitting minimum noise. Energy for the cooling is provided directly from the iPad, so there is no need to worry about bringing an additional energy source. The iPad Sport Cool Case is compatible with all MyGoFlight mounts.

MGF’s iPad Sport Cool Case was not strictly designed for use in airplanes. It can also be used in cars and trucks, or during outdoor use when needed. MGF expects the $249 case to be available in June.
