Embraer’s [NYSE: ERJ] Phenom 300MED—the medevac version of its Phenom 300 series aircraft—has received a supplemental type certificate (STC) from both FAA and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the manufacturer announced.

Embraer first unveiled the medevac aircraft in 2020, announcing that it had joined forces with umlaut and Aerolite for its development in order to accommodate one or two stretchers, as well as other medical equipment on board.
