Preliminary Reports

The airplane was substantially damaged at about 1440 Central time during an in-flight collision with terrain. Visual conditions prevailed. The airline transport pilot sustained serious injuries. The sole passenger on-board sustained minor injuries. The pilot reported a loss of engine power after takeoff and was unable to maintain flight.

At about 0915 Atlantic time, the airplane was substantially damaged after an in-flight loss of engine power and forced landing. The commercial pilot and two passengers were not injured. Visual conditions prevailed. Shortly after takeoff, at about 200 feet agl, the right engine surged. In response, the pilot feathered the right propeller and advanced the left engines throttle.

The airplane was substantially damaged and its solo private pilot fatally injured upon impacting terrain while maneuvering. Visual conditions prevailed for the practice aerobatic flight. Prior to a scheduled aerobatic competition, the pilot was engaged in a practice session.

At 1345 Central time, the airplane sustained substantial damage on impact with terrain during landing. The left main landing gear collapsed during the landing roll-out. Visual conditions prevailed. The pilot and company mechanic were uninjured. The local flight originated from the same airport at 1330.

The airplane experienced a loss of control during a go-around at 1335 Atlantic time. Visual conditions prevailed. The sport pilot was killed.

At about 1435 Eastern time, the airplane was substantially damaged after a loss of engine power and forced landing. The commercial pilot and passenger received minor injuries. Visual conditions prevailed.

At about 1245 Eastern time, the airplane was substantially damaged during impact with a residential area, following a loss of engine power during takeoff. The commercial pilot was killed. Visual conditions prevailed.

The airplane collided with a snowbank during the landing roll at about 1630 Alaska time, sustaining substantial damage. Visual conditions prevailed. The commercial pilot and lone passenger were not injured.
