Tecnam's P2006T NG (Next Generation) aircraft has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification, marking an upgrade to its original P2006T model.
The P2006T NG features enhanced performance with an increased maximum takeoff weight, fuel-injected Rotax 912iSc3 engines for greater fuel efficiency, and significant reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.
It includes an advanced cockpit with Garmin G1000Nxi avionics, a GFC700 autopilot, improved accessibility with four independent doors, and LED lighting, with deliveries now set to begin to customers worldwide.

The latest iteration of the P2006T that originally premiered 15 years ago was unveiled last year at the AERO 2024 trade show in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
