A 24-year-old manager for Start Skydiving, Sarah Rhoads, was accidentally killed when she walked into the spinning propeller of an aircraft on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at Middletown Regional Airport in Ohio, where Rhoads sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Although Rhoads was trained in ramp safety, the accident involved a Twin Otter, which was a brand new aircraft for the company.
The FAA has announced it will investigate the fatal accident.
