Piper Offers ‘Cloud-Based’ Documentation Through ATP

Move intended to streamline document access.

Piper Aircraft and Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) announced this week that beginning Dec. 5 access to all Piper maintenance publications and regulatory documents will be available exclusively through the ATP Aviation Hub Online Service and ATP’s NavigatorV Desktop Platform. Until then, Piper will continue to offer its manuals and technical publications through Avantext, Inc.

“Going forward, ATP is pleased to partner with Piper Aircraft to provide these cloud-based services to the thousands of Piper owners, operators and maintainers around the world,” said ATP President Rich Marino. “Subscribers will have access to all their pubs through one complete service and always know they are current and ready for the next inspection.”

ATP’s products offer users the ability to learn one simple software platform to access all of their publications online. With daily revisions to all content, ATP’s solution eliminates the cost of installing and managing software. Maintenance personnel can streamline parts procurement and reduce transcription errors by extracting information directly from the illustrated parts catalog or any technical publication.

Brisbane, California-based ATP is a global knowledge services company providing safety and compliance information for the aviation industry.
