Hartzell Propeller has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its new three-bladed Carbon Voyager propeller, making it available for select Cessna 180, 182, 185, 206, and T206 aircraft.
The carbon-fiber composite prop offers 3-4% improved takeoff and climb performance, a significant 20.8-pound weight reduction (weighing 54 lbs), and a 2,400-hour/six-year time between overhaul (TBO).
Engineered with aerospace-grade materials, the Carbon Voyager is specifically designed for the rigors of backcountry and off-airport operations.
Hartzell supports backcountry aviation by offering a $1,000 discount to Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) members for backcountry props and will donate $250 to the RAF for every Voyager propeller purchased by a member in 2025.
