Eugene, Oregon-based Rosen Sunvisor Systems has introduced what the company calls the ARC Sunvisor Assembly system, which allows airplane and helicopter pilots to protect their vision from bright sunrays more easily. The visors have been redesigned with various shapes and tints, and the new system provides a lot more flexibility in movement than previous systems.

The ARC Sunvisor Assembly attaches the visors to various monorail systems via an arm with articulating attachments at each end, allowing the pilot or passenger to position the visor forward, aft, up, down, right and left.

In addition to the new flexible visor attachments, Rosen has released an iPad mount, which comes in various sizes based on the iPad model, using the same articulating arm. A custom-made iPad holder with a quick release system attaches to the arm, which in turn connects to the overhead monorail allowing for placement of the iPad wherever the pilot desires.

Rosen’s sunvisors are available for most business, corporate, commercial and general aviation airplanes and helicopters.
