More Service for King Airs

Cessna Citation service centers transition to Beechcraft products.

Textron Aviation is continuing the integration of its Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft product lines. Most recently, the Kansas-based mega company has started adding King Air turboprop capabilities to its formerly Citation-focused service centers. The first centers to achieve FAA authorization for King Air services are Sacramento, California; Mesa, Arizona; and Paris, France.

These company-owned service centers can now provide service to the Beechcraft King Air 90-, 200- and 300-series of twin turboprops. Textron Aviation’s senior vice president of customer service, Brad Thress, said the company plans to continue the integration of Beechcraft and Hawker service into its company-owned Citation service centers worldwide this year.

The service center at the Paris-Le Bourget Airport opened in 1997 and recently moved into a brand new 156,000-square-foot facility. Two additional European Textron Aviation service centers, which offer full service capabilities for most Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker products, are located in Dusseldorf, Germany and Zurich, Switzerland.

The Textron Aviation umbrella includes 21 company-owned service centers around the globe, 40 mobile support units, and Air Response Team and several Go Teams.
