Honda Aircraft Company announced that the HondaJet's FAA certification is nearing completion after all function and reliability testing concluded.
Extensive flight testing, spanning 31 states, 54 airports, and various environmental conditions, was completed in October.
This final stage of testing with the FAA is expected to be finished in a few days, leading to type certification and entry into service for the HondaJet.
With all function and reliability testing finished, Honda Aircraft Company announced that the HondaJet’s FAA certification is nearing completion.
“Honda Aircraft will conclude testing with the FAA in a few days, which will pave the way for HondaJet type certification and entry into service,” Honda Aircraft Company president and CEO Michimasa Fujino said last week.
