With all function and reliability testing finished, Honda Aircraft Company announced that the HondaJet’s FAA certification is nearing completion.

“Honda Aircraft will conclude testing with the FAA in a few days, which will pave the way for HondaJet type certification and entry into service,” Honda Aircraft Company president and CEO Michimasa Fujino said last week.

The innovative light jet’s flight testing concluded in October, spanning 31 states and 54 airports and incorporating takeoffs, landings, system operations, failure cases, approaches, and operations in hot, cold and humid environments.
