The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has partnered with the IMC Club to host a series of instrument proficiency forums this week at EAA AirVenture.

The Oshkosh forums will focus on improving instrument proficiency through discussions centered on the experiences that pilots may encounter in instrument flight. Each seminar will be introduced by the NTSB’s Earl Weener or Mark Rosekind. Forums will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the EAA Welcome Center.

The concept behind the IMC Club is to create local communities of instrument rated pilots, and aspiring instrument pilots, who meet to discuss topics and share information relative to instrument flying. This “organized hangar flying” promotes the sharing of information and experience among attendees while encouraging safer instrument flying.

For more information about the IMC Club, visit the group at GAMA’s booth no. 299, located between Hangar A and the EAA Welcome Center.
