Pipistrel’s Sinus motor glider dates back to the mid-1990s and has served as a foundation for other the company’s models with which it shares certain components.
The manufacturer’s popular Virus model is among the Sinus’s close relatives. Indeed, the Sinus FLEX for sale today comes with interchangeable wing tip sections that allow the owner to switch between long glider wings and shorter wings, much like the Virus’, that are better-suited for faster cruising speeds.
