Since going public via a SPAC-IPO last summer, Wheels Up’s share price has slumped in the public markets amid questions about its addressable market and profitability.

Wheels Up is partnering with ATP Flight School by forming a hiring partnership that will offer ATP graduates a pathway to first officer positions at the on-demand private aviation company.

Delta’s Propel College Path Program adds Part 135 operator to recruit business aviation pilots to the airlines.

Acquisition of U.K.-based firm will allow private, member-based aircraft operator to expand internationally.

Company said its active membership grew 31 percent in the final quarter of 2021.

Deal comes on the heels of acquisition of U.K.-based Air Partner PLC.
