The development is a significant step forward from Ukraine’s current Soviet-era capabilities, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps said.
Under the deal, Aerostar S.A. will repair Romanian Air Force fighters’ landing gear, wheels, and brakes.
The center will serve as a model for training regional partners, including the Ukrainian Air Force, said Kathleen Kavalec, U.S. ambassador to Romania.
