In a statement, the company said it will take over the full-service Fort Lauderdale Executive Jet Center. The deal officially closed on Friday, bringing the facility into Signature’s network of over 200 locations.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The Executive Jet Center includes a 10,000-square-foot main terminal and over 100,000 square feet of multiuse hangar and office space on about 15 acres of land.
Signature leaders said the acquisition will help grow the company’s presence in South Florida. Other Signature locations in the region include Boca Raton Airport (KBCT), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (KFLL), Miami International Airport (KMIA), Miami Executive Airport (KTMB), Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF), and Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI).
Signature said it will work with the Executive Jet Center’s staff to upgrade and modernize the terminal, while ensuring a smooth transition for guests and workers.
