The Historic Flight Foundation's meticulously restored vintage Douglas DC-3 successfully completed its inaugural flight from Paine Field.
The DC-3, which saw service flying "The Hump" during World War II, now features a historically accurate Pan Am paint scheme.
Its recreated interior pays homage to its heritage as a Pan Am airliner and a 1950s corporate transport, with invited guests celebrating the smooth maiden flight.
