Gulfstream’s newest jet, the G800, made an appearance at this year’s NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, offering the media an up-close look at the manufacturer’s “marvel of performance and efficiency.”

The twin-engine jet, which completed FAA and EASA certifications earlier this year, represents the pinnacle of Gulfstream’s large-cabin lineup, combining the performance of the G700 with even more range.

The G800 is powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines and shares the same wing design as the G700. With a maximum range of 8,200 nm at Mach 0.85—or 7,000 nm at Mach 0.90—the aircraft is built for nonstop missions such as New York to Hong Kong or Dallas to Dubai, according to the company.

Inside, the cabin features Gulfstream’s signature oval windows, four distinct living areas, and customizable layouts designed to accommodate up to 19 passengers. The demonstrator at NBAA-BACE featured forward and aft lounges, full galley, and private suite options tailored to long-range operations.

The interior continues Gulfstream’s emphasis on low cabin altitude—less than 3,000 feet at 41,000 feet cruising altitude—and advanced air purification systems. 

In the cockpit, Gulfstream’s Symmetry Flight Deck returns, featuring active control sidesticks, touchscreen avionics, and enhanced vision system (EVS) combined with heads-up display (HUD). The layout continues Gulfstream’s move toward pilot-friendly, intuitive controls seen across the G500 and G600 series.
