Eurocopter is aiming to transition its EC 135 helicopter from a leading utility aircraft to a preferred choice for executive transport.
The EC 135 features advanced full IFR avionics with glass displays, full-authority digital engine controls, and excellent cockpit visibility.
Despite its small twin-engine design, it can carry a heavy load, including a six-seat executive interior, and benefits from Eurocopter's strong U.S. product support.
Eurocopter is betting the EC 135 will make a smooth transition from a leader in utility markets to the first choice in executive-configured helicopters as well.
The Eurocopter EC 135 features a full IFR avionics suite with glass displays from the French firm Thales and GPS/navcoms supplied by Garmin.
