Nextant announced a slew of improvements to the 604XT, a refurbished version of Bombardier’s Challenger 604 business jet that the company first announced at NBAA’s European Business Aviation Convention and Expo in Geneva.

A spectacular new interior design was revealed at a press conference at the Las Vegas convention center, where NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention and Expo is taking place this week. The new layout includes a solid door closure on the inside of the air stair door for reduced noise, a completely redesigned galley area, and a partition in the rear section for increased privacy. A full width table designed for dining or conference use is another nice addition. Cabin acoustics have also been modified to reduce the noise.

Nextant also announced it will increase the range of the Challenger 604 by 500 nm through a drag reduction and wing extension program. The service ceiling will increase to FL450, allowing the airplane to get above more weather systems and traffic. The 604XT will have Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line Fusion integrated touch screen cockpit and Safe Flights AutoPower system.
