Tucker Rice started out flying RC Airplanes when he was three-years-old. He and his grandfather Allen Rice decided to get into flying full-scale airplanes when Tucker was only 12. Now at 20, Tucker a student and lineman, knows he wants his future in aviation to be in the military.

“I’ve always known I wanted to be a pilot since I was a little kid,” Tucker explains. “My grandfather has been a huge influence on my aviation career. We both have a pilot’s license. He’s also a very mechanically-inclined person, so we do all owner-assisted annuals, and it has been a real eye-opener for me getting to learn the systems and everything that goes on with the maintenance side of the aircraft, as well as the flying side.”
