Future aspirations include widespread in-flight internet for personal aircraft and the ability for gadgets to serve as autopilot navigation sources in certified aircraft.
Other "Holy Grail" developments aim for gadgets to provide real-time decision-making assistance and integrate advanced head-up displays (HUDs) for critical flight data.
