The speaker lineup for FLYING’s first virtual event on October 27 features some of the aviation industry’s most innovative minds.
A total of 10 speakers are already scheduled to discuss recent advances in general aviation technology. They include:
- George Bye, founder, CEO, and chairman at Bye Aerospace
- Ron Gunnarson, vice president of sales, marketing, and customer support at Piper Aircraft
- Josh Harnagel, vice president of marketing at Redbird
- Annemarie Mercedes Heikenwälder, aircraft sales manager at Diamond Aircraft
- Doug King, CEO of Epic Aircraft
- Phil Lockwood, president of Aircam
- Mark Malloy, president of Partners in Aviation
- Dan Schwinn, CEO of Avidyne
- Todd Simmons, president of customer experience at Cirrus Aircraft
- Philip Straub, executive vice president and managing director at Garmin
More speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. On-air hosts will include FLYING staff writer Thom Patterson.
About the Event
The show, which is free to attend, will begin at 11 a.m. ET. It’s for anyone with an interest in general aviation, whether you’re a seasoned pilot, or you’re just joining the family. You’ll get information about everything from single engine pistons to jets.
Hobbyists will learn about innovation trends in the fixed wing market, and what to be on the lookout for in aircraft and accessories in 2022.
Purchasing agents for corporate jet organizations will also find value in this event, as they’ll see market signals that’ll influence their purchasing decisions.
