Flying Aviation Expo Just One Week Away

Registration is still available for the highly anticipated Palm Springs fly-in October 20-22.

Time is running out to pre-register for the Flying Aviation Expo, which promises to offer something for any pilot or aviation enthusiast.

The Expo, held this year for the first time at the Palm Springs International Airport, runs from October 20-22. The highly anticipated event will feature displays and demo flights from aircraft manufacturers such as HondaJet, Cirrus, Mooney, Diamond, Lancair and many more.

The weekend will also be jam-packed with 39 seminars and talks with 30 leaders in the aviation industry, such as FAA senior adviser Marke “Hoot” Gibson, NTSB member Earl Weener and aerobatic pilot Sammy Mason, to name a few, speaking on a variety of subjects such as drones, electric aircraft, safety and advances in aircraft technology. And be sure not to miss the first-ever live debate between aviation educators John King and Rod Machado on the FAA’s new Airman Certification Standards.

Other notable products will be on display from Avidyne Avionics, Garmin, Scheyden Precision Eyewear and the URB-e foldable electric scooter. And Tesla will be on hand offering attendees the chance to test drive its Model S electric car.

The three-day event will be capped off with a 007-themed party Saturday night at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Party-goers can drink and dine amid historic warbirds, with the night’s entertainment coming courtesy of crooner and America’s Got Talent finalist Sal Valentinetti.

It’s sure to be a weekend no aviation enthusiast wants to miss. Register at aviation-xpo.com/register.
