Key Takeaways:

U.S. lawmakers allege that Chinese drone manufacturer DJI is circumventing U.S. restrictions by using American-based Anzu Robotics and Hong Kong-based Cogito Tech as front companies.
Investigations suggest these "front" companies are selling drones that are direct "clones" of DJI models, incorporating identical hardware and software despite claims of independent development.
This alleged strategy allows DJI to bypass U.S. bans and cybersecurity concerns, maintaining market access for its products through seemingly domestic brands.
Lawmakers are demanding investigations into Anzu and Cogito, urging the Commerce Department to implement measures to prevent Chinese manufacturers from using "white label" products to evade restrictions.
