ATP Flight School, the largest flight training academy in the U.S., has added two new training centers in Columbus and Akron, Ohio.

In a statement, the company said it is offering classes and training at Ohio State University Airport (KOSU) and Akron-Canton Regional Airport (KCAK). ATP already had a presence in Ohio through its center Cincinnati Municipal Airport-Lunken Field (KLUK).

“With industry forecasts projecting a shortfall of over 28,000 pilots by 2030, pilots starting training today with ATP will position themselves ahead of the demand and be able to take advantage of the best competitive offers,” said Michael Arnold, ATP vice president of marketing. “We’re excited to expand this opportunity to career-minded pilots in Ohio with increased access to a no-compromise airline career solution that puts them on a proven path to becoming an airline pilot.”

ATP focuses on training students to work as commercial airline pilots. It boasts 83 locations across the U.S.

The school is currently scheduling summer classes.
