Aviation service provider and FBO network Atlantic Aviation has acquired ExecuJet’s fixed-base operation at Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM) in Sint Maarten.
Atlantic leaders said the deal will strengthen the company’s position in the Caribbean, since the airport is a critical hub for the region and a gateway to destinations like St. Barts, Anguilla, and St. Kitts.
“Providing our customers with an expanded international footprint while strengthening our Caribbean network are important goals for us,” Atlantic CEO Jeff Foland said in a statement. “Our prestigious, new Sint Maarten location allows us to accomplish both—providing customers in the region with seamless access to Atlantic’s industry-leading service and hospitality.”
Financial details were not disclosed.
The Sint Maarten base offers aircraft ground services such as fueling, parking and landing permits, water, lavatory services, and ground power units. It also has concierge services such as passenger handling and coordination, customs and immigration clearance, and catering.
The location will continue to operate under ExecuJet’s name, Atlantic officials said, and the current team will remain in place.
Most of Atlantic’s bases are in the U.S., though it also operates in Grand Cayman and Turks and Caicos.
