The new Cessna Mustang is described as a delight to fly, featuring modern, low-drag design elements such as long engine mounting pylons and ventral fins for improved stall characteristics.
Its cockpit is equipped with a sophisticated Garmin G1000 avionics suite, including three flat-panel displays, a large 15-inch multifunction display (MFD), and capabilities like XM Weather (Nexrad) and topographical maps.
Distinctive design features include a rectangular cabin door, long-lived LED external lights, and elliptical windows that provide passengers with an excellent view, while maintaining a cabin cross-section size comparable to other Citation 500 family members.
