According to the pilot, the landing was “normal” with the touchdown on the main landing gear. About three to five seconds later, after the nose landing gear touched down, there was a “shift” of the airplane to the left. The pilot applied maximum braking and right rudder to no avail; the airplane veered off the left side of the runway. The pilot noted that the airplane had recently undergone an annual inspection. Since then and during about every other flight, he had seen a “Gear Warning” light illuminated sometime during the flight.
