Dassault Aviation CEO Eric Trappier expressed significant concern over impending 25 percent U.S. tariffs on EU imports, which would include French-made Falcon business jets.
The proposed tariffs threaten to deeply impact Dassault Falcon's U.S. operations, particularly its Little Rock, Arkansas, completion and service facilities that employ 1,700 workers.
Dassault's projected delivery target of 40 Falcon jets for the current year is at risk due to the potential tariffs.
In a press conference Wednesday, Dassault Aviation chairman and CEO Eric Trappier described impending U.S. tariffs on the European Union (EU) as a “most concerning” geopolitical development.
President Donald Trump has said he intends to impose 25 percent tariffs on EU imports, which would include French-made Falcon business jets.
