Dassault Aviation's CEO expressed "most concern" over impending 25 percent U.S. tariffs on EU imports, specifically targeting French-made Falcon business jets.
The proposed tariffs could significantly impact Dassault Falcon's U.S. presence, particularly its completions and service facilities in Little Rock, Arkansas, which employ 1,700 workers.
Dassault fears these tariffs could compromise its projected delivery target of 40 Falcon jets for the current year.
In a press conference Wednesday, Dassault Aviation chairman and CEO Eric Trappier described impending U.S. tariffs on the European Union (EU) as a “most concerning” geopolitical development.
President Donald Trump has said he intends to impose 25 percent tariffs on EU imports, which would include French-made Falcon business jets.
