Hartzell Propeller has received a supplemental type certificate (STC) for its new three-bladed Carbon Voyager propeller.
This 54-pound carbon-fiber composite prop significantly improves takeoff and climb performance by 3-4% and is engineered for backcountry operations on specific Cessna 180, 182, 185, 206, and T206 aircraft.
Hartzell supports backcountry aviation by offering a $1,000 discount on backcountry props for Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) members and contributing $250 to the RAF for each Voyager propeller purchased by a member in 2025.

The carbon-fiber composite propeller is now available for Cessna 180, 182, 185, 206, and T206 single-engine aircraft equipped with Continental 470-50, 520, and 550 engines.
