The U.S. Department of Defense said it awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Bell, a unit of Textron (NYSE: TXT), a $482.3 million contract modification to deliver four CMV-22B tiltrotor aircraft for the Navy. The modification adds to a previous contract for CMV-22Bs.

Work on the additional four aircraft will take place in Fort Worth, Amarillo, Red Oak and McKinney, Texas; East Aurora and Endicott, New York; Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and Park City, Utah, as well as locations outside the U.S. The DOD said it expects the work to be finished in June 2026.
