At about 14:15 eastern time, a Cessna 172M was damaged when it encountered wake turbulence from a Boeing 757-200, operated by the US Air Force, about 4 miles south of Andrews Air Force Base. The pilot was not injured. The pilot said he was cruising from Cambridge, Md., to Friendly, Md., and was passing south of Andrews AFB.
