All 12 people on board a skydiving aircraft, including the pilot, were killed Sunday when the plane crashed near Butler, Missouri.

The aircraft went down around 11:30 a.m. CDT, shortly after taking off from Butler Memorial Airport (KBUM), according to Sergeant Justin Ewing of the Missouri Highway Patrol. Of those killed, one was the pilot, and the 11 others were all skydivers, he said.
