Registration is open for the 37th annual Women in Aviation International (WAI) Conference in Dallas on March 19-21 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.

Traditionally, the three-day WAI gathering brings women and men from all over the world who either have or aspire to have aviation and aerospace careers. There are hands-on educational events, inspiring and informative speakers, and unmatched networking opportunities.

The daily general session is headlined by informative and inspirational speakers, which are yet to be determined, chosen for their ability to connect with the crowd. The exhibit hall features companies that make products for aviation and businesses looking for employees.

In addition, there will be three professional development seminars on topics that will help take your learning to the next level.

Traditionally the conference is much like a powerful job fair. In addition to researching possible careers by talking to women who hold the job you dream of and aspire to, many companies—in particular airlines—conduct on-the-spot interviews. So if you are in the market for a job, bring your suit and multiple copies of your résumé.

There’s usually plenty of time for socializing as well, as the conference provides multiple receptions and celebrations, including the Pioneer Hall of Fame ceremony and celebration dinner.

Local WAI chapters also use the conference as a chance to up their game, learning how to increase membership numbers.
