Flying recently sent art director Jarrod Glick to fly with the Breitling Jet Team at an event in Pompano Beach, Florida.

After a brief training session covering basics like safety precautions and bailing out in an emergency, Jarrod went up with pilot Patrick “Gaston” Marchand inside jet No. 7. The jets pulled 4 to 5 Gs and performed loops, inverted loops, barrel rolls and other aerobatic maneuvers in formation.

With seven jets flying in formation, often just within 10 feet of each other, the Breitling Jet Team is the largest professional civilian flight team of its kind.
