Tecnam opened the AERO Friedrichshafen aviation trade show Wednesday with the launch of a new luxury aircraft and several product upgrades aimed at the flight training and executive transport markets.

The annual show in Germany began with the Italian light plane manufacturer introducing the P2012 VIP, a luxury edition of the Tecnam P2 0 12 Traveller. The P2012 VIP sports a business-jet style interior with leather seats, and enhanced acoustic insulation.
